What's Happening in ISCorp Cycling
After four days of racing, Nate Labecki and the junior team came away with a win and the Cat 3 leader’s jersey at the prestigious Gateway Cup. On day one, a series of crashes took out the four man strong team of Nate, Peter Davis, Kevin Lindlau and Kaleb Koch. As the team was preparing to position itself for the leadout, they were swarmed and blocked by several crashes. The following day, the team was unwilling to accept a repeat result. With Pete setting up a strong leadout, Nate cruised in for second with Kaleb in third behind the lone breakway rider Cameron Rex (Mesa). Finally moving up to the top of the podium, Nate won day three in a field sprint, besting the closest rider by several bike lengths. On the final day of racing, Kaleb was the best placed rider in third place.
